Mary Ware, CFP^®, CIMA^®, MBA

Mary became an advisor to achieve her dream of doing something that impacts people's lives positively. After graduating from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, she attended Wake Forest University, where she earned her master’s in Business Administration. She’s been in the industry for 18 years since then. Mary’s licenses and designations include Certified Financial Planner and Certified Investment Management Analyst. Her go-to financial advice is to invest in experiences rather than things.

In her free time, Mary enjoys spending time with her husband, Luke, along with their two children and extended family and friends. She also loves cheering on the Tar Heels and all Charlotte sports teams. Mary currently serves at Myers Park United Methodist Church and is an active member of the Junior League of Charlotte, Women’s Impact Fund, Financial Planners Association of Charlotte and Investments and Wealth Institute. She is an alumna of Leadership Charlotte Class 32 and a founding member of the World Economic Forum Global Shapers Charlotte Hub. Mary’s favorite thing about working with clients is getting to know them and serving as a coach, confidant and friend for all things financial.
